As-of timeThe time a figure was read from its source, shown beside the figure.
AttestationA report in which an accounting firm states whether the reserves behind a token match the published figures on a given date.
AuditAn independent examination of financial statements or code that ends in a written opinion from the firm that performed it.

The public Layer-1 network that CenterNetwork builds on, open to anyone who wants to use or validate it.
ChecksumA short fingerprint of a file that changes if a single byte of the file changes.
Counterparty riskThe risk that the other side of an arrangement fails to do what it agreed to do.
Currency riskThe risk that moves in an exchange rate change what a holding is worth in the holder currency.
CustodianA firm whose business is holding assets for others, named in the documents and examined in the financial audit.

Net of feesA figure shown after the management and operating fees of the product have been deducted.
Network feeThe fee paid to the network for including and executing a transaction, priced in the network asset.

Reserve ratioReserves divided by token supply, expressed as a percentage, read at a stated time.
Restricted countryA country whose residents cannot hold a given token because of law, sanctions or the terms of the offering.

Checking a person or entity against published lists of restricted parties before and during a relationship.
SettlementThe moment a transfer becomes final and the records of both sides agree.
Smart contractCode deployed to a network that executes rules automatically when it receives a transaction.
Sovereign riskThe risk that a government does not meet the obligations of the debt it has issued.
Special purpose vehicleA separate legal entity created to hold one pool of assets and nothing else.
StablecoinA token designed to hold a steady value against a reference currency, backed by reserves held for that purpose.
StakingLocking the network asset to support validation, with rewards and penalties defined by the protocol.

The annualised return an asset aims to produce, before it happens, shown net of fees.
TokenizationRepresenting a real-world asset as a transferable token on a public network, with rights and records defined off chain.
Treasury billA short-dated government debt instrument sold at a discount and repaid at face value on its maturity date.
