Audit
An independent examination of financial statements or code that ends in a written opinion from the firm that performed it.
A financial audit examines the issuer of an asset: its statements, its authority to issue, its custody arrangements and the existence of the underlying asset. A code audit examines the token contract: access control, the upgrade path and the reserve logic.
CenterNetwork requires both before an asset can be minted. Each report is published with its date, its scope and a checksum so a reader can confirm that the file has not changed.
