Bank deposit
Money placed with a bank under an agreement that sets the rate, the term and the conditions for withdrawal.
Deposit-backed tokens hold term deposits with named banks. The rate, the term and the counterparty appear in the underlying table of the asset.
Tokens are not bank deposits and are not covered by deposit insurance. A holder holds a token whose value depends on the deposit behind it.
