Tokenization
Representing a real-world asset as a transferable token on a public network, with rights and records defined off chain.
Tokenization does not change what the asset is. A tokenized bill is still a claim on a government instrument held through a legal structure.
What changes is settlement: transfers clear on chain in seconds, the supply is public, and the reserve behind the supply can be published continuously.
